I want to tell you the real story behind why Kashish exists.
My wife loves diamonds.
Whenever I bought jewellery for her, she always wanted there to be a diamond in it. It didn't have to be a large diamond. Even one small diamond was enough. For her, that little sparkle made the jewellery feel more special.
As her husband, I always wanted to give her something that looked rich, beautiful and truly worthy of her. But I soon realised that combining what she wanted with what I wanted to give her wasn't always easy on my pocket.
I remember buying her a pair of diamond studs for around ₹13,000. She was happy because they had diamonds in them, and seeing her happy made me happy too. But somewhere in my mind, I couldn't stop thinking that for ₹13,000, I could have given her something that looked even more special and substantial.
So, over time, I often found myself choosing jewellery without stones. Not because I didn't want to give her diamonds, but because I wanted my money to create more value.
When i was deciding on my next anniversary gift, my best friend now also my business partner, Ashish, introduced me to lab-grown diamonds.
I was amazed.
Here was something that could give me the beauty, brilliance and presence of a diamond, while allowing me to stay within a budget that felt comfortable. That thought became the beginning of Kashish.
