Lifetime Exchange & Buyback Policy

At Kashish, we want your jewellery to remain valuable beyond the day you purchase it. Our Lifetime Exchange and Buyback Policy provides eligible customers with the option to exchange or sell back qualifying jewellery, subject to the terms below.

Lifetime Exchange Policy

Customers may exchange eligible Kashish jewellery for another jewellery item of equivalent or higher value. If the new item is of a higher value, the customer must pay the difference.

Exchange is subject to product inspection and approval by Kashish. The jewellery must be returned in acceptable condition along with the original invoice, Certificate of Authenticity, and any other relevant documents provided at the time of purchase.

If the required invoice, certificate, or supporting documents are unavailable or cannot be verified, Kashish may reject the exchange or apply applicable testing, verification, or documentation charges.

A customer may avail of the exchange facility up to three times for the same purchase/product lineage.

Lifetime Buyback Policy

Eligible jewellery purchased from Kashish may be offered for buyback, subject to physical inspection, verification, and final approval.

Metal Value

100% of the eligible metal value will be considered for buyback based on the prevailing market rate applicable on the date of buyback, subject to purity verification and applicable deductions.

Lab-Grown Diamond Value

The buyback value of lab-grown diamonds will be calculated according to the buyback value or percentage specified in the product terms/invoice at the time of purchase, subject to verification and approval.

Diamond values may change over time due to market conditions. Therefore, the buyback value may differ from the original purchase value.

Additional Buyback Deduction 

An additional 10% deduction of the eligible jewellery value before taxes will be considered as a processing charges, part of the applicable buyback calculation, subject to the specific terms stated at the time of purchase.

Conditions for Exchange & Buyback

Jewellery will be eligible only after successful inspection and verification. The product should be in acceptable condition and should not show signs of excessive damage, abnormal wear, alteration, or tampering.

The customer must provide the original invoice, Certificate of Authenticity, and other relevant documents issued with the jewellery. Kashish reserves the right to determine the final eligibility and valuation after inspection.

Buyback and exchange are subject to approval by Kashish.

Return of Complimentary Gifts

Any complimentary gift, promotional item, or free product received with the original order must also be returned when required under the applicable return or exchange offer.

If the complimentary gift is not returned, or is returned used, damaged, or without its original packaging, the declared value of the gift may be deducted from the refund, exchange, or applicable settlement amount.

Refund Timeline

Once a buyback or eligible refund request has been inspected and approved, the applicable amount will generally be transferred to the customer’s original payment method or registered bank account within 7–10 working days.

Reverse Shipping Charges

A reverse pickup or shipping charge of ₹999 or the actual logistics cost, whichever is higher, may be applicable where specified.

Customised Jewellery

Customised, personalised, made-to-order, engraved, altered, or specially manufactured jewellery is not eligible for buyback or exchange, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by Kashish.

Unboxing Video Requirement

Customers are strongly advised to record a clear, continuous, and unedited unboxing video from the moment the sealed package is opened.

An unboxing video may be required for claims involving a missing item, incorrect product, damaged product, or package-related dispute.

Jewellery Sold Through Authorised Partners

Jewellery purchased through Royal Kothari Jewellers or any other authorised retail partner will be eligible for buyback or exchange only according to the terms applicable to that particular purchase and after verification of the original invoice and supporting documents.

Important Disclaimer

All exchange and buyback requests are subject to product inspection, purity and diamond verification, document verification, prevailing market rates, and final approval by Kashish.

Kashish reserves the right to revise its exchange and buyback terms from time to time. The policy applicable to a purchase will be governed by the terms communicated on the invoice, product page, certificate, or other purchase documentation.

Important before publishing: Three handwritten points need exact confirmation: the lab-grown diamond buyback percentage, the exact meaning of the additional 10% jewellery value, and whether the ₹999 reverse charge applies to every buyback/exchange or only selected cases. These should be stated mathematically and unambiguously to avoid future customer disputes.
